Having been interested in hypnosis and the mind/body connection for many years, I wondered if hypnosis “really ” worked?  I had heard of people using hypnosis to quit smoking, but like most people, I kinda blew it off and thought, “yeah right”.

Subdue , hypnosis intrigued me to the point where I couldn’t stand it any longer.  I signed up for a training course with a local hypnotherapist and washed-out 8 weeks training on how to help others with hypnosis.  Throughout the class, we learned a lot of theory about hypnosis that gave me a much better understanding of how it worked and why it worked.  I finally realized that while not “exact”, there was some science to this.

Question ten different people about hypnosis and you’ll probably get ten different responses.  About six of those people would probably laugh whenever you mention it.  People just don’t know how helpful hypnosis can be.

But let me question you this.  If hypnosis isn’t “real” and doesn’t help people, then why are there so many university and independent studies screening that hypnosis can help you quit smoking?  Why is it that most cities and towns have at least one hypnotherapist, (check your yellow pages).  Do a quick internet search for “quit smoking hypnosis mp3” and you will find hundreds of different CD’s and MP3’s available, along with testimonials of people who have stopped smoking with hypnosis.

So reckon about it.  Chances are you’ve wanted to quit for some time now.  Maybe you’ve tried.  Maybe you’ve been successful for a week, a month or maybe a couple of months, and for some reason, you chose to start smoking again.  If a friend said to you, “just listen to this CD or MP3 once a day for 21 days, and you’ll double or triple your chances of quitting smoking”, would you not try that?

Maybe you’re thinking, “well sure, if a name just gave me that stuff, but I’m not going to pay for something like that”.  You wouldn’t?  You wouldn’t waste $100 to quit smoking?  Lets see…if cigarettes are cheap where you live, a pack a day over that 21 day period is going to cost you $105, (at $5 a pack).  A really excellent hypnosis audio program is going to run you a hundred bucks, you can listen to it in your home and you can return it if you don’t feel it helped you!  What more could you want?  I don’t know of any other smoking cessation program that’s going to give you all that?

The simple fact is, “hypnosis works”.  It’s not black magic, voodoo mind control.  It’s an simple way to quit smoking that will take most of the work out of it for you.  It removes your cravings and helps you mind your weight while you’re giving up cigarettes.

If you want to quit, at least consider hypnosis.  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.  Best of luck to you!
